"The Power of the 99%"
Look around this country. Look at your neighbors, your coworkers, the people living next to you. The corporate media and the political establishment want us to believe we are isolated, weak, and completely at the mercy of their system. They want us divided by design, because a divided working class is a compliant working class.
But I am here to tell you today that the game is over.
Have you ever watched the movie A Bug's Life? In that story, a small group of arrogant grasshoppers ruled over an entire colony of ants. They stole their food, they dictated their lives, and they used fear to keep them down. The leader of the grasshoppers knew a dirty little secret: he confessed that a single ant means nothing, but if those millions of ants ever realized their collective numbers, they would crush the grasshoppers instantly.
Well, folks, the billionaires and the special-interest lobbyists are the grasshoppers. And the 99% of us? We are the ants. And it is time to fight back.
For decades, we have been told the exact same lie: "There just isn’t enough money."
They claim there isn't enough money to pay care workers—the child care educators, the elder care providers, the healthcare heroes, 80% of whom are women—a dignified living wage. They claim there isn't enough money to fund permanent survivor services. They claim there isn't enough money to cancel student loans or fix our broken infrastructure.
But notice how they always find trillions of dollars overnight to bail out corrupt banks? Notice how they always find the money to give billionaires massive tax breaks? Notice how an employer claims a "funding shortage" until a man walks into the room, and suddenly they find the cash to pay him more than an equally qualified woman for the exact same job?
It is not a funding issue. It is a discrimination issue, an accountability issue, and a corporate greed issue!
My platform as a write-in candidate for the U.S. Senate doesn't ask the corporate elite for permission. It strips away their power and uses the raw machinery of federal law to force absolute equity.
We are going to give the 14th Amendment real, unyielding teeth. We are bypassing corporate-friendly courts and handing direct asset-seizure powers to State Attorneys General and labor boards. If an employer steals your wages through sex-based discrimination, the state will claw that money back and put it directly into your pocket.
We are introducing the Women's Health Earned Income Credit, funded entirely by closing high-net-worth tax loopholes and spiking billionaire tax rates. We will lock that revenue in a secure federal trust fund and send it straight to you through the IRS, completely bypassing hostile state politicians.
We are going to wipe out all $1.8 trillion of outstanding student loan debt as a massive macroeconomic stimulus—and we are going a step further to issue direct cash refund checks to every single worker who scraped and sacrificed to pay their loans off under a predatory system!
And to the career bureaucrats who try to block disabled candidates from running for office by demanding grueling, physical door-to-door petition drives? We are establishing an ADA-compliant nominal fee system that automatically prints our names on the ballot and funds itself by lowering the burden on the local taxpayer. Physical mobility will never again dictate a citizen's right to represent their community!
The establishment tells us our goals are too radical. They call us "write-in" candidates like it’s a limitation. But a write-in ballot is a blank canvas for working-class fury.
Your body and what you do with it is the ultimate vehicle for free speech. A politician's moral objection is just a hostile heckler's veto—and it carries zero legal authority over your anatomy or your paycheck.
The grasshoppers are big, bad, and wealthy until the millions of us decide to stand up, lock arms, and march to the ballot box together.
On Election Day, don't just vote for a name on a pre-printed corporate list. Take the pen, write in Ashley J. Webb for U.S. Senate, and let's take our country back!
Thank you.
